Hi, I’m Susan Howells. I help clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger, stress, life transitions, trauma, addiction, crises, and dual diagnosis. My approach is tailored to each client, their strengths, and their goals. I utilize a variety of techniques like Advanced Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, strength-based methods, skill-building, Gestalt, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, parenting skills, and relapse prevention. I also incorporate client-centered therapy, polyvagal theory, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
