I have been in private practice for 34 years helping people to understand and overcome issues resulting from family of origin issues, life's traumas and repetitive thinking patterns that interfere with their goals. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families from many cultures, religions and alternative lifestyles. One of my specialty areas is recovery from trauma that has led to maladaptive coping strategies such as substance abuse. Recovery is an amazing spiritual process! I have had the privilege to work with many people who have successfully achieved long term recovery through affect management and have extensive knowledge of the 12-Step programs.
