Whether you are experiencing situational stressors that have come to a head or long-term mental health issues, I see patients that are students, parents, and young or seasoned professionals that are seeking professional treatment. I approach therapy in a welcoming yet proactive manner for those seeking treatment for common problems such as depression and anxiety as well as those struggling with significant life changes such as dealing with past/present abuse or trauma, relationship issues, separation, divorce, loss of a loved one, or other life events that feel insurmountable. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents (ITCT-A) treatment, and basic EMDR treatment models. I also incorporate Person-Centered and Psychodynamic approaches. Length of time in treatment is dependent on the severity of the problem(s) and one's ability to cope/function.
