I believe we can all benefit from a dedicated space to discuss life experiences and process emotions. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping clients to navigate life's transitions, heal from trauma, and develop healthy coping skills. I work collaboratively with clients to overcome symptoms of depression and anxiety, while specializing in workplace stress, relationship problems, disordered eating, and sexual trauma. Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years as a crisis counselor and advocate for survivors of sexual violence. It was my work with survivors that inspired me to study Social Work. I understand that a genuine connection between the therapist and client is vital to the therapeutic process. My approach to practice is warm, non-judgmental, and down to earth. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques, to help clients break free of unhealthy patterns and become happier, more authentic versions of themselves.
