I believe we all want to be seen and heard. As people we long to be loved and accepted, free of overwhelming anxiety and/or depression. My clients are looking for validation that their pain is real. They are looking to make changes in their lives to alleviate some of the depression, trauma and anxiety they are experiencing. They understand that change takes time and that engaging in therapy takes courage. In this one life, pain is inevitable but suffering is optional. My clients want to make better choices and learn self care practices so that they put themselves first. They want more out of life and learning that they deserve more.
