About
Sydney is a Mississippi native and a graduate of Madison Central High School in Madison. She is and honors graduate from Mississippi State University where she earned her B.S. in psychology and worked as a research assistant in the Metacognition Research Lab. Sydney earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College where she completed over 700 clinical training hours. She completed three internships in graduate school where she focused on the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders utilizing trauma informed care with adults and the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental health concerns in children, adolescents, and adults such as grief, behavioral issues, family conflict, anxiety, and depression.
