Have you ever been told you’re "too sensitive" or "too much"? What about "not enough"? Have you felt pressured to meet other’s expectations and disregard your own needs, feelings and wants? If this feels true, you are not alone. I have experience working with individuals through their traumas, shame, anxiety, anger, depression, identity issues, life transition, relationship troubles, grief, and heartache. I believe therapy looks different for each individual depending on what they are needing from the therapeutic space. Sometimes it’s using humor to bring connection, other times it’s processing tough challenges without judgement. What you are needing from the therapeutic space is important to me. I encourage and guide individuals to step into their deeper selves to identify what they are needing most to meet their goals. I use the tools I have to collaborate on new perspectives and facilitate self-discovery to empower individuals to make the changes they see fit.
