Sydney believes everyone has a story worth telling and is worthy of a safe space to share. She is passionate about working with children, teenagers and young adults and seeing them grow. In addition to counseling, Sydney works with students in various settings including mentoring through a local ministry and coaching middle school cross country. Due in part to her own personal experience with counseling, Sydney believes healing comes with meeting an individual right where they are. Sydney believes freedom happens when wholeness is embraced and we begin to let go of shame. She pulls from multiple counseling theories including attachment-based, person-centered, internal family systems, play therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. She utilizes an integrative approach to connect deeply with her clients.
