My background working with adolescents and young adults is extensive and incorporates DBT, CBT, solution-focused therapies to accommodate each of my clients unique needs. I have experience in play therapy techniques such as sand tray, doll play and interpretive drawing. Play Therapy is a child's natural form of communication that reveals many hidden emotions for a child. My knowledge working with children from traumatic backgrounds, anger issues, anxiety, depression, etc. allows for me to work with families to build stronger relationships. I have a great passion for working with children and families as well as working with adults struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, and life changes. I am also Cognitive Behavior Therapy certified and Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples certified.
