Positive experiences with mental health professionals, both personally and through those around me, inspired me to become a therapist. After seeing the way it helped change lives and fostered empowerment, I decided I wanted to provide the same support and guidance to others. My goal in helping clients is to empower them through the journey of healing and transformation. I believe in providing a non-judgmental space that incorporates unconditional support and positive regard to help my clients feel comfortable sharing their feelings and experiences. Given my bi-racial and multi-cultural background, I believe it is essential to incorporate considerations to the multi-faceted nature of my client's context and background in order to be able to understand and support them in working toward their therapeutic goals.
