You may want to work on relationship issues, boost self-esteem, find freedom from being "stuck", or simply want someone to join the process of understanding yourself better. Whatever might bring you into therapy, the clinical approaches I use are strength-based (focusing on your strengths) and are proven to be effective for both short and long-term therapy. I believe starting with a clear understanding of a client's past experiences, current issues, and therapist and client working together in a safe environment are key ingredients for therapeutic progress.
