Hello, I’m Tamar, a queer, Femme, anti-racist, fat/body positive therapist working with clients toward healthy and joyful outcomes. I have ample experience working with LGBTQIA2S+ folks, complex trauma, high-conflict dynamics, minority stress, spiritual crisis/growth, intercultural relationships, CNM/polyam and kinky clients. My therapeutic practice is grounded in the belief that healing and growth are for everyone, and my tent is a big one—I welcome individuals from all identities, backgrounds, and walks of life to explore their unique journeys in a safe and supportive space. I am a licensed professional counselor, an AASECT certified sex therapist, and a studied tender of grief. I'm extensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which I find useful when working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP). My orientation as a therapist is strengths- and values- based, honest and direct, and always non-judgmental.
