I believe that we are all image-bearers of God, as having been created in His image. Therefore, the client and I both bring resources into the therapy room with which to work collaboratively toward a healthier life for the client-- mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Beyond my training in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have experience that I bring to the table from my own life journey-- parenting into adulthood; divorce recovery; partner betrayal trauma, spiritual formation; marriage and relationships; career counseling; codependency issues; and addictions. My greatest core belief is that there is always hope! Women are so incredibly resilient and resourceful. As the woman sets healthy boundaries, recognizes and utilizes her resources, and applies her strengths, she can experience a wonderful freedom that will positively affect others in her world. I enjoy creating a safe place for women to explore and find healing from dysfunctional family systems and trauma.
