About
Supporting a child, teen, or young adults with autism, and/or anxiety can be challenging. Symptoms can make it difficult for your child to attend therapy or implement strategies learned in therapy. I'm a Stanford-trained Clinical Psychologist, and I work with caregivers of children who have significant challenges with anxiety that interfere with daily life. Parents often struggle to find the right balance between excessive involvement and "just right" amounts of support to encourage autonomy. I teach caregivers new strategies to break cycles of accommodation, increase their child's self-efficacy, and reduce symptoms of anxiety. View 5 Photos I support caregivers of neurodiverse children, adolescents, or young adults (ages 5-21) with anxiety-driven avoidance or rigidity, high parental involvement that is difficult to reduce, and “failure to launch” or stalled independence. I coach parents through gradual behavioral changes in the home environment that lead to symptom reduction and independence.
