After spending the past ten years working for Major League Baseball as a Minor League Umpire, I’ve been gradually transitioning into a new passion: therapy. This journey has taken me from the baseball field to the counseling room, where I now have the privilege of walking alongside people through their toughest moments. In this new pursuit, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals in a range of settings, including Shiloh House, a residential non-profit for at-risk youth, and the Crisis Text Line, where I have helped people navigate some of their darkest and most vulnerable moments. These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of connection and non-judgemental care. As I near the completion of my Master of Social Work degree from MSU Denver, I’m thrilled to be working directly with clients at Ellie Mental Health.
