I'm Dr. Tara Chambers. I hold three licenses in the State of Illinois and have four degrees in Human Behavior/Clinical Counseling/and Psychology. I would describe myself as naturally solution focused but not always driven for brief therapy. I believe that therapy takes time but whether you have one day a month, one day a week, or only a handful of days a year, any amount of time working on improving your life and your view of yourself is progress. I'm comfortable working on hard topics and thankful for an opportunity to be part of your healing journey. The first session shouldn't feel much different than any of the rest. Each session is a process of you sharing about yourself and me learning about that person. As we build layers of learning, we will begin to apply interventions and treatment methods that fit your needs and provide you with new ways of thinking, behaving, and coping in your day-to-day.
