Immediate openings. My name is Tara Fornuto and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with teens, young adults, and adults. My passion lies in helping people overcome trauma, life transitions, anxiety disorders, depression, gender dysphoria, and LGBTQ+ issues. I use a combination of evidence-based treatment, relational therapy, humor, and creativity to meet you where you're at. Sessions may look like what you see on TV or sometimes feel like chatting with a friend. The most effective therapy is when you feel comfortable and can trust your therapist. I work with people to help them gain insight along with practical skills to help cope with difficult times in their life. I have experience working with depression, self-harm, anxiety, trauma, gender dysphoria, and grief. There is no one-size-fits-all approach so I will work with you find what works best for you and your situation.
