Tara A. High, LPC, understands that every person’s story is unique. She takes time to truly get to know each client, meeting them with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect. Tara supports children, teens, and adults navigating grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, various addictions, effective communication, life changes, loneliness, academic and career support, executive functioning struggles and ADHD. She also offers guidance around challenges such as bullying, suicide awareness, and exploring personal values or career direction. View 4 Photos As a state-certified LPC and School Counselor, Tara uses a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, sandtray therapy, Love and Logic parenting strategies and Gottman wisdom. In addition to counseling, Tara teaches Parenting with Love and Logic courses and works one-on-one with parents who are seeking parenting support.
