Finding the right therapist can be a stressful journey. I am grateful that you are choosing to do that work for yourself. I am a queer licensed independent clinical social worker with over a decade of experience. I specialize in supporting those seeking recovery from substance use disorders, sexual violence, low self esteem and childhood chronic stress. However, I believe therapy is beneficial to everyone in our society. Together, we can explore and dissect repeating patterns in your family and life. Collaboratively we can create strategies to meet your personal goals, and increase your resiliences. The therapy I offer is interactive and person centered. I borrow from multiple therapeutic techniques and interventions including MI, IFS, narrative, DBT and ACT. Most importantly, I work hard to create and maintain a therapeutic relationship that includes: feedback both ways, laughing, crying, trust and authentic, mindful communication.
