If you only take the time to read the first paragraph of my bio, here’s what I want to tell you: There’s nothing inherently “wrong” about who you are, it’s ok that you needed to do what you’ve done to survive and there is positive intention behind any behavior. If you don’t believe those things right now but you want to, that’s where I can help. My purpose as a counselor is to create a space where you feel comfortable to be real, become active in your healing and confident in determining what lasting change looks like for you. I help youth and adults look at experiences and relationships that may hold pain or trauma in their lives. Sometimes we move towards or away from connection in ways that don’t feel healthy or aligned with who we really are. I’m here to help you stop the cycle and develop the kinds of relationships that honor you, not bring out the old wounds in you.
