Your choice to enter therapy matters deeply to me. At the same time, I operate from the stance that your problems are not the whole of who you are. As a therapist, I’m here to understand your dynamic fullness and complexity, beyond what diagnostic labels or pastel Instagram infographics might suggest. I’m less invested in what’s “wrong” with you and more drawn to what's most precious to you, even if you aren't totally sure what that is yet. Pain and uncertainty can become the lushest pathways to meaning. My hope is to offer a steady, honest space where your experiences and longings can be met with care, curiosity, and respect. My approach holds that the client-therapist relationship can teach us so much about how we show up in other areas of our lives. I privilege my clients' expertise on their own experiences while being unafraid to point out possible blind spots. I also work with philosophy, stories, metaphor, and popular culture as reference points.
