I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Durham Psychology Group. With a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and membership in the International Honor Society, Teresa is highly qualified in her field. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy University, where she double-minored in substance abuse and addiction and Social Science. Teresa is currently working on her second Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. She has been happily married to her wonderful husband for 30 years. Since graduating, she has excelled in her role as a child play therapist, positively impacting the lives of countless children. Child play therapy can be beneficial in many different situations, such as trauma or abuse, grief and loss, behavioral problems, anxiety and depression, ADHD, Behavioral Disorders, and Developmental Disorders.
