I have been a therapist for 13 years, raised 5 children, been married and divorced, and part of a blended family. I've been a teen parent and a parent of teens, and honestly, I went back to school to learn for myself. What I discovered was confidence in becoming who I am. I learned I am 'normal,' failures and all, and what a relief! As a therapist, I understand the vulnerability and bravery involved in coming to therapy and I seek to make it as welcoming as possible. I specialize in women's issues including self-image and growth, trauma recovery, miscarriage and perinatal loss, postpartum depression and adjustment, intimate relationship (pre/post and during), parenting, friendship, and family of origin relationships, grief and all of life's stressors.
