Whether you're seeking counseling because you don't know where else to turn, you're feeling lost and alone, or you just want to learn to be the best you that you can be, I will come alongside you and walk with you towards your goals. As a former high school educator, I am especially interested in working with adolescents and young adults who are trying to find their place and identity in the world around them, who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and stress management. I approach my work from a CBT-informed perspective and desire to help each client in recognizing negative thought and behavior patterns, while empowering them to change their perspectives, make meaningful connections, and channel their feelings into healthy outlets. Learning to change thinking can rewire the brain over time.
