Counseling has been defined as "helping others to help themselves". Our journey in life often takes unexpected and unwanted twists and turns. Sometimes a little help is all that's needed to navigate the obstacles and regain our path. It would be my honor to help you to live the life you desire. Help comes through an offer of a warm, inviting environment with a compassionate, nonjudgmental listener. My role is not to tell you what to do or what to think but to help and to guide. I have counseled people facing difficult choices or changes, and people with histories of trauma and mental illness. I recognize everyone's experiences are unique, and counseling should reflect individualized needs.
