In the past, I have worked in an agency setting where I work with adults who are diagnosed with Substance Abuse disorders. Through their journey, I have been able to develop an expertise in co-occurring disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. I am now ready to expand my career to include children who may need assistance with mental health disorders, or maybe just feel like they have trouble fitting in. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I understand the struggles of everyday life - from trying to narrow down and specify just one goal to living through a pandemic while also managing anxiety and stress. Sessions with me will be driven by client input, and together, we will develop solutions that work for you and your life. Some of the interventions I use include play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I can also offer sessions online or in person, whichever best suits you and your needs.
