As you’re choosing a therapist from hundreds of providers, here is what you can expect from me. I offer in-person sessions (& telehealth) for clients who prefer face-to-face connection. I do not use Artificial Intelligence for notetaking due to concerns about data security. I do not require you to put a credit card on file to start treatment with me, which aligns with a new law in New York designed to protect health consumers. I take many insurance plans to support mental health parity - because we deserve to use our benefits to pay for therapy - and I offer pro bono services for those with complex financial barriers to care.
