The Creative Arts Therapy Center of Denver (CATCOD) is a safe, inclusive and accepting space for people of all ages where we promote healing and support through psychotherapy. We offer individual, family and group evidence-based services provided by Licensed Professional Counselors. While we are skilled in traditional methods of verbal therapy and assessment, we are also expertly trained to incorporate artistic modalities when appropriate. Creative arts therapy is not dependent on the outcome of the art and there is no art experience necessary. Rather, art-making contributes to healing, holding and growing into our best selves. We help with a variety of concerns; benefits of treatment may include: lowered anxiety, improved coping skills, stress management, greater self confidence, better relationships, enhanced social skills, emotional balance, and trauma (PTSD) and grief resolution.
