I provide a safe environment for you to talk about whatever is bothering you. I'll occasionally ask you to clarify something, I'll offer my views on what comes up, and I'll point out how I see the past playing out in your present. As you feel more comfortable talking to me, I may challenge you to go deeper. In doing so you will gain confidence in your ability to cope with feelings you previously thought were unbearable. You will free up parts of yourself which will give you more energy, you will feel less stuck, and you will gradually discard behaviors that may have once served a purpose but now are getting in the way.
