Most people don’t come to therapy on the wings of victory. More often than not when I meet my clients, they are grappling with some combination of significant pain, anxiety, depression and fear. As a Licensed Clinical Therapist with my own story, I get it. The great privilege of my career is bearing witness as people who have been hurt, who may be shame-filled or raging or frightened become loving, present, capable human beings who don’t have to hurt themselves or others. It's a beautiful thing.
