I'm Tim Cohen, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) providing therapy for children, adolescents, and families in Gainesville, Florida. I specialize in emotional regulation, anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, and support for neurodivergent children using an integrative, developmentally informed approach. I believe in taking an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring care to their unique needs and strengths. Drawing from both counseling and music therapy, my work supports emotional expression, communication, self-regulation, and resilience in a safe, supportive environment.
