I see counseling as an opportunity to get to know yourself and determine what you want in life and examine the path and behaviors that help achieve the goals that you set. Counseling is a tool that helps refine your behaviors to achieve those goals. Change does not happen overnight, but understanding yourself better can make implementing small changes in thinking and behavior possible.
