My ideal client is motivated, trusting, energetic, curious, ambitious and solution-oriented. Therapy is a relationship exercise in which both the therapist and client work together to explore issues, success's, barriers, and accomplishments. The ideal client will have an end in mind which aligns with them leaving the therapeutic experience healthy and in a better state of being. That is a very vague answer I know but I say that because I don’t generally claim one therapeutic approach. I have training and experience in a range of modalities such as person-centered, Dialectical Behavior therapy (dbt), Trauma-informed CBT.
