Hello! My name is Tishawna Mims, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) with the state of California. I have a great deal of experience working with youth and adults, providing individual and group therapy to patients within community agencies, on issues like anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, PTSD, and more. I have a passion for working with a diverse and multicultural population. My therapeutic approach is client-centered and individualized to the person’s needs. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
