I am a LCSW with over 24 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, families and couples in a variety of settings including hospitals, residential facilities, outpatient clinics, wilderness programing and private practice. I specialize in the areas of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems model, substance abuse treatment and experiential therapy. I also hold a unique specialty in the area of intensive trauma work as an ITR Certified Trauma Specialist. The first step tends to be the hardest in any new journey. It is important that you're able to find someone with both the experience and competency that can walk along side you in your efforts to navigate the complexities ahead. It doesn't hurt to have someone who also understands the humanistic side of life along the way.
