A collaboration between Counselor and Client is core to the Therapeutic work. Everyone is unique in their needs and how they see and experience the world. I honor this uniqueness and I meet the client where they are and together, we find/create the approach best suited for them. LIFE brings us many challenges often causing confusion and stress. During these times the willingness to reach out and ask for help is a sign of courage. Accepting where we are and what we are experiencing at a given time can be a new beginning and an opportunity to work with what we are feeling, instead of fighting it or distancing ourselves from it.
