I am a therapist that likes to set goals and work towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better and to see positive changes in their lives. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be most helpful. I believe in listening to what my clients need an developing an individualized approach for each person. Clients would describe me as warm, open, non-directive, and affirming. I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight. In our first session, I will have you talk about your story aka what brings you to therapy. It is normal to have some anxiety on the first session and not know what to say. Don't worry, I will ask you questions to help to bring out the things that you feel are important to talk about. This gives me understanding of what you are needing, which is important.
