My name is Tonya Koenigstein and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. I have passion in working with children, teens, and adults by helping them cope with life's stressors and gain insight and confidence in their lives. Some of my areas of interest and experience include depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, grief, and substance use. My office is conveniently located in the downtown Huntsville medical district. I currently accept only BCBS insurance plans, however will provide you with a superbill if you have a different plan. Self-pay options are also available. I work alongside my clients to create a positive and collaborative therapeutic environment. Through the use of traditional talk therapy and the option of art therapy, I provide a client-centered approach based on individualized needs.
