I have worked in private practice as well as in hospice centers, shelters for victims of domestic violence, and chemical dependency programs. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals and have a particular focus on women’s issues. No matter the situation, I’m honored to help guide clients along their journeys to the better life that they are searching for, whether in learning to let go or learning to step into the next stage of life. After first becoming a licensed social worker in the State of California in 1992, I began my work: creating an empathetic, safe, and confidential environment for clients to find the areas in their lives that they’re ready to work on. I employ both cognitive-behavioral and supporting techniques, and have trained as a music therapist.
