I sincerely believe that one's perception is their reality, and understanding that perception allows me to connect with them in a more therapeutic manner. Each client brings their own unique story, and hearing that story brings valuable insight. My goals in the therapeutic setting are to earn and build client trust, to always be authentic, to model empathy and warmth, to employ unconditional positive acceptance, to assist with reframing problematic thinking to foster potential solutions for happiness and healing, and to foster development of healthy coping skills as needed.
