I received my Master's Degree in Direct Practice Social Work from Arizona State University with an emphasis on children and families. I am currently one of many counselors working at Arizona Family Institute. I have had many valuable experiences in working with individuals addressing crisis, abuse, depression, anxiety, tension, neglect, adjustment, addiction, and especially trauma. I am a Level II Practitioner of the Trauma Release Process (Berceli). Trauma is physical, emotional, mental. My approach offers clients a physiological approach to releasing unwanted discomfort resulting from stress and traumatic events. I was also part of a research study with the VA helping veterans recover from PTSD.
