Often those things in life that are most difficult are natural parts of life, known as givens – Freedom, Death, Isolation, Meaninglessness. Being confronted with these givens can create anxiety, which can lead to significant consequences. Everyone who looks for a therapist does it because there is something that is blocking their happiness. It might be something external that caused you to look, but you have it within you to set yourself free. Waiting for the world, your boss, your significant other to make things better for you gives someone else control over your happiness. I’ve been helping clients with various issues and concerns for 30 years. I utilize my personal life experiences, training, education, and a person-centered approach to help you experience a more authentic existence. I do this by combining therapy, psycho-education, and coping skills to aid you on your internal journey towards freedom and happiness.
