My approach to mental health seeks to recenter our stories about ourselves with kindness at the forefront. I fervently believe that inside all of us is an earnest craving to do good, and that only by celebrating that part can we bring it forward and give it voice. I am a cisgender gay man from a small southern town, so I have a keen interest in LGBTQIA+ issues and religious trauma. My greatest concern as a counselor is making sure that my clients feel supported and heard, and I look forward to learning and developing through the relationships I build with each of them.
