Getting an accurate diagnosis is the first step in treatment. I see patients who may be experiencing problems with attention, memory, or executive functioning (time management, organization/productivity concerns). Some individuals want to know if they have undiagnosed ADHD, Autism (adults), or early signs of Alzheimer's disease/dementia versus normal age-related changes. By interviewing and administering cognitive tests, I can provide individuals with a diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and a detailed written report. This information is essential for getting the right treatment and accommodations.
