About
I have more than 25 years of experience working with children, young adults (16-30), and families in private practice, as well as in public and independent school settings. My background has provided a deep understanding of the challenges associated with anxiety, depression, school refusal, social difficulties, and special education evaluation and planning. I integrate evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with practical, real-world coaching strategies to promote meaningful change. I also provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments that examine cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning. My approach emphasizes empathy, clarity, and actionable support that is straight forward, direct and very effective with even the most resistant children and young adults. My CBT therapy uses research-based strategies that are taught as life skills that can be easily applied in all settings throughout their life.
