Valerie is a licensed social worker who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves without judgment. My primary experience includes working directly with survivors of trauma and complex medical diagnoses. I have extensive experience working with chronically ill individuals and understanding the complex emotional, physical, and identity-related challenges that can accompany long-term health conditions. Through the use of trauma-informed CBT and a collaborative client-centered strengths-based approach I aim to help clients recognize their personal power and potential.
