The process of change and healing is challenging. Healing is hardly a singular upwards track and in fact, there are multiple ups and downs. Healing is an adventure that takes us outside of our comfort zone and our ‘norm’ to find self love and show up as our authentic selves in all areas of our lives. We step outside of the standards and experiences we thought were protecting us and in actuality, they were our survival mechanisms that are no longer functional for us through our healing process. We may feel defeated or isolated when we feel stuck. My experience has shown me that people are resilient and able to heal and grow.
