I’m Maribel Zehnder, a Clinical Professional Intern, bilingual English and Spanish, providing a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for children, adolescents, and their families. I employ a humanistic approach to honor each person’s unique experiences, utilize Gestalt techniques to explore thoughts and feelings in the present moment, and incorporate play therapy to help children express emotions, develop coping skills, and grow with confidence. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change—at a pace that feels right for you. “Supporting children through separation, stress, and new beginnings.” As a Clinical Professional Intern, I specialize in supporting children and families through challenging transitions. My focus is on helping kids who struggle with separation anxiety, school adjustment, and the unique emotional challenges related to immigration and cultural change.
