Because of the diverse range of human experience, mental health does not benefit from a one-size-fits all therapy, but rather from creative approaches to treatment. I believe that creativity and mental health are interrelated through their joint emphasis on humanism and empathy. This approach means meeting clients where they already are, using humility, radical acceptance, and creative thinking to learn the power of self-advocacy and achieve self-understanding.
