I prefer to work with clients who are motivated towards change and doing what needs to be done in order to make that change happen. We will explore wants, needs, and barriers and use cognitive-based strategies to cope with life. I have several years of related experience trained in using Reality and Cognitive-Behavioral based therapies to empower clients to take responsibility and make decisions that are beneficial to their life. I work full-time in an HIV service organization primarily working in trauma and with those in the LGBT community. I consider myself queer, kink, poly, and ethical non-monogamy friendly. I am also certified in CPT.
